Restrictions
- The glow of the plankton does not look the same every night: it depends on the moon, the sky and the state of the water.
- Bring cash in small notes for island purchases; card payments often carry a surcharge.
- Bring sunscreen, a hat, a towel and a change of clothes, plus a warm layer for the evening bus ride.
- Tell the guide at the start of the tour if you want to visit the Oceanario on Isla San Martín de Pajarales. Admission is paid at its ticket office: COP 40,000 per adult and COP 30,000 per child aged 2–10 at 2026 rates. Children under 2 enter free.
